Closest winery to The Eagle's Glen Cabin, located 17 miles to the southeast, they are open seasonally for wine tasting on Fridays & Saturdays noon-6pm. Their wines are akin to the “Old World Style, Hand-Crafted” wines of Europe. Bear Claw produces and bottles it’s own wine on site near Blue Ridge, GA, 21.6 mi. southwest of Eagle's Glen Cabin. Wine tasting is available daily, except Tuesdays. Free live music year-round Fridays through Sundays. Varietals include Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, White Reisling, Cayuga, and oak-aged Treehouse Chardonnay.

Serenberry Vineyards

Serenberry Vineyards & Farm Winery is located 26.5 mi southeast of The Eagle's Glen Cabin, near Morganton, GA. Their wines range from dry whites, to light reds, to heartier reds, to sweet wines. They are open for wine tasting Thursdays-Sundays, year-round. They offer guided wine tastings or 3-wine flights. Varietals include: Chardonnay, Chambourcin, Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as apples, peaches and blackberries.

Odom Springs Vineyard, 27.3 mi southeast of The Eagle's Glen Cabin, is a small estate vineyard in the Appalachian Mountains. Most of their vineyards are grown in clear patches of ground or sides of hills, usually less than an acre in size. This creates the opportunity to craft different styles of wines, by planting the same grapes in different soil conditions. Open for wine tasting daily, except Tuesdays (closed). French-American hybrids grown here include Chambourcin and Norton for red wines, and Seyval Blanc, Vidal Blanc, and Chardonel for white wines.

Living Water Winery & Vineyard is located 31.4 mi southeast of The Eagle's Glen Cabin. Dramatic panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains greet you at this 70-acre farm, where you can sample estate-grown wine or craft beers. Open for tastings Wed-Mon, closed on Tuesdays. White wines include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Grigio, while red wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Shiraz.
